ADRIEL CLEMENTS
Born and raised in Oklahoma, I am Native American Kiowa/Arapaho, I attended Moore Norman Technology Center for video production and that’s where my love for the camera and video editing began. A few years after graduating Moore Norman, I started covering the Riverside Indian School’s (RIS) basketball team, and through time I learned more and more skills in videography. Later in my volunteer work with RIS I started trying out photography, mind you I didn’t go to school for photography, it was loads of trial and error, hours of YouTube tutorials, tutorials on how to edit pictures in Adobe Lightroom, and many, many mistakes I had to go through. Thankfully I started to get the hang of both crafts of videography, and photography and started attending many high school games in the Caddo County areas in Oklahoma. I have been doing this for 4 years now and have been to many events outside of Oklahoma. I have attended and done volunteer work for the Native American Basketball Invitational (NABI) in Phoenix, Arizona, Tribe Athletics Basketball Tournaments all across the states (Kansas, Mesa, Arizona), and it doesn’t end at just sports I have also covered many Tribal events such as the Native American Veterans Memorial hosted by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian located in Washington D.C., the Denver March Pow Wow located in Denver, Colorado, and Kiowa Gourd Clan (KGC) held in Carnegie Oklahoma. I have made many connections through the years of content creation, many eyes are on my platform from college recruiters, tv producers, museum directors, tribal programs and many content creators. This platform was made for helping Youth in getting exposure, and to be seen, and to have a voice, I want to be that role model many can look to, to see that they too can make their dreams come true. Not just in media, but in life, never give up on your dreams and aspirations. If you find your passion don’t let it go, go for it, no matter the cost or failures because in the end it’s all worth it!
